CAIB-ISBA 2026-2027 Aid for Companies in the Balearic Islands
Call aimed at facilitating access to finance for companies in order to support liquidity operations, productive investments, innovation, digitalisation and sustainability projects, as well as financial leasing operations.
The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Innovation of the Government of the Balearic Islands announces this line of aid to facilitate access to financing for companies operating in the Balearic Islands, through grants intended to cover arrangement and assessment fees, interest, and the cost of guarantees provided by mutual guarantee societies in financial transactions linked to liquidity and investment.
The aid is structured into several lines: liquidity, extraordinary liquidity to mitigate the economic consequences of the war in the Middle East, productive investments, investments in innovation, digitalisation and sustainability, and financial leasing or leasing. In all cases, the transactions must be guaranteed by a mutual guarantee society regulated by Law 1/1994 and must comply with the financial conditions established in the call.
In the case of liquidity and extraordinary liquidity transactions, the main activity must be located in the Balearic Islands; in investment and leasing transactions, the financed investments must likewise be carried out in production centres located within this territorial scope.
Under the liquidity line, new transactions, renewals or refinancing arrangements formalised through a loan, credit facility or other liquidity financing instruments are subsidised, excluding non-recourse factoring, as well as renegotiation and restructuring transactions.
The extraordinary line related to the war in the Middle East is aimed at transactions formalised to mitigate the economic consequences of this context in the affected sectors. For their part, the investment lines support both productive investment projects and actions in innovation, digitalisation and sustainability, while the leasing line supports financial leasing transactions for business investments.
Financial support may reach up to 300,000 euros per beneficiary under the liquidity, extraordinary liquidity and financial leasing lines, and up to 1,500,000 euros under the productive investment and innovation, digitalisation and sustainability investment lines for transactions formalised from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2027.
