City Council of Huesca Grants aimed at the creation, improvement and consolidation of businesses for the year 2025

The aid is directed at natural or legal persons carrying out their activity in the municipality of Huesca. The subsidy covers up to 50% of the investment, with a maximum limit of €7,000 per beneficiary.

This call includes two distinct lines: improvement and consolidation of existing companies, with a budget of €200,000, and creation of new business initiatives with €120,000.

Subsidisable expenses are those incurred and paid between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025, and directly related to the economic activity of the company and to the establishment or workplace located in Huesca. Only expenses clearly justified at the time of application will be taken into account.

In the line for improvement and consolidation of existing companies, the following expenses are subsidisable:

• Adaptation of premises, offices, warehouses and technical installations related to the company’s activity.
• Justified acquisition of machinery aimed at optimising the production process.
• Works and investments aimed at improving energy efficiency.
• Furniture and specific equipment for the company’s main activity.
• E-commerce websites.
• Creation of web 2.0 pages or higher versions.

In the line for the creation of new companies:

• Adaptation of premises, offices and warehouses, as well as technical installations related to the activity.
• Acquisition of machinery and tools.
• Acquisition of furniture (excluding decorative items).
• Equipment and software directly related to the development of the business activity, as well as for the productive and administrative management of the company.
• Websites, development of applications for mobile devices and applications for electronic commerce.
• Initial franchise fee.
• Business transfers.
• Expenses necessary for starting activity, up to a limit of 10% of the total eligible investment:
  • Incorporation and start-up expenses.
  • Communication expenses.

Applications can be submitted both online through the City Council’s electronic headquarters and in person at the General Registry. This initiative is part of the Strategic Plan for Grants 2025-2028 and aims to consolidate business growth, generate employment and boost the local economy.
