Desafía AgroTech Alemania 2026

Desafía is an initiative created by Red.es and ICEX that helps Spanish small businesses enter some of the world’s most innovative technology ecosystems.

Desafía Agrotech Germany 2026 is an immersion and support program aimed at Spanish AgroTech companies with a strong innovative and technological component, targeting the following sectors:

  • Agricultural biotechnology, including applications in crops, biology, veterinary science, and livestock.
  • Circularity and carbon sequestration applied to bioenergy, biomaterials, regenerative agriculture, and livestock.
  • Robotics, mechanization, and smart equipment, including machinery for agricultural and livestock operations, automotive, drone manufacturing, and cultivation equipment.
  • Farm management software, including data capture devices, sensors, and big data analytics.
  • Other Agrotech sectors.

The program is structured in the following phases:

  • Bootcamp (April 14). A preparation day consisting of workshops covering the scope of the program and its immersion phase, pitching training tailored to the German market, and analysis of the need–solution–product sequence for each participant.
  • Pre-immersion program (April 7–30). This phase will be carried out remotely through mentoring activities, guidance, and personalized follow-up by local experts, aimed at identifying business opportunities in the German market.
  • In-person immersion program in Germany, in Hannover, Frankfurt am Main, and Berlin (May 4–13). Activities will include visits to companies and specialized centers, networking actions, workshops, and matchmaking sessions. Selected companies will also attend the Growth Alliance Network Summit in Frankfurt am Main, visit the Höchst industrial park, and meet start-ups and investors in Berlin.
  • Post-immersion program (from the end of the immersion phase until mid-December). This final phase aims to ensure continuity of the support provided, strengthen the sense of community, and foster networking to generate business and collaboration opportunities.
