Desafía San Francisco primavera 2026
An immersion and support program for women-led Spanish startups interested in scaling their business model internationally.
Exclusively aimed at Spanish startups and scaleups led by women, the Desafía San Francisco Spring 2026 program has been designed with two main objectives:
- To introduce women entrepreneurs to the Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem (by promoting connections with mentors, entrepreneurs, and investment funds, with a particular focus on women entrepreneurs/founders) and to provide them with the necessary tools to scale successfully in the U.S.
- To facilitate the entry of the selected startups into the North American market through direct contact with investors, corporations, and strategic partners.
The program is structured around the following phases:
- Bootcamp (March 26). The program will kick off with an in-person strategic workshop in Madrid. During this session, the selected startups will begin working on the objectives to be achieved throughout the program, meet the Desafía San Francisco team, and take part in preparatory workshops focused on storytelling, goal setting, and market positioning.
- Pre-immersion program (from March 30 to April 24). Over four weeks, the startups will participate in a virtual program consisting of masterclasses, mentoring sessions, and activities aimed at preparing their business development strategy. These sessions will be led by experts in the U.S. market and will help companies refine their value proposition, optimize their investor pitch, and begin building strategies to attract new leads.
- In-person immersion program in San Francisco (from May 4 to May 15). This two-week in-person immersion will take place in the heart of the Bay Area and will focus on direct engagement with the local ecosystem.
- Post-program and Desafía Alumni Network. Designed to ensure continuity of the support initiated during the immersion program, strengthen the sense of community, and foster networking, with the aim of promoting the generation of business and collaboration opportunities. Additionally, companies will receive ongoing support from the program management team after the immersion ends, facilitating access to contacts, resources, and strategic business and investment opportunities, as well as access to perks and discounts.
