Fondo de Impacto Social (FIS)
The Social Impact Fund (FIS) is a public financial mechanism managed by COFIDES, designed to promote impact investment in Spain and strengthen the social entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The primary goal of the Social Impact Fund is to address social and environmental challenges, such as territorial and social integration, reducing inequalities, and strengthening the welfare state, among others.
The FIS aims to create additional impact by using financial instruments tailored to the specific realities of the social economy, with the intention of attracting private resources toward impact investments.
The call for proposals is currently open, and submissions can be sent to the following email address: fis@cofides.es.
Beneficiaries
- Purpose-driven" companies undertaking impactful and transformative projects, of all sizes and at any stage of development.
- Entities of various types (foundations, associations, non-governmental organizations, etc.) and social economy enterprises.
- Funds and investment vehicles based in Spain, or whose investments are directed toward eligible projects to be carried out in Spain.
Requirements
Eligible projects will be those carried out in Spain that generate a positive social and/or environmental impact and have profitability prospects. The project must have a clear intention to generate this impact, provide additionality, and present measurable results in the most objective way possible.
