General invitation to companies to participate as exhibitors in the Spain Pavilion at MWC Barcelona 2027
The purpose of this call is to facilitate the participation of Spanish technology companies in the Spain Pavilion and to promote their international visibility at MWC 2027, showcasing their technological and innovative capabilities in a global environment
Red.es launches a competitive selection process to choose up to 50 companies that will participate as exhibitors in the Spain Pavilion during MWC Barcelona 2027, one of the leading international events in the connectivity and digital technologies industry. The selected companies will have a customized stand within the pavilion and access to a set of services aimed at maximizing their visibility and business opportunities.
Participation in the program includes:
- Networking program:
- Participation in one-to-one meetings to generate valuable contacts and establish partnerships in an agile and effective manner.
- Participation in thematic meetings focused on a specific sector, to exchange experiences, discuss industry trends, and explore collaboration opportunities.
- Participation in international meetings organized with delegations from different countries, to explore cross-border collaboration opportunities and open new business channels in foreign markets.
- Participation in tours to establish professional contacts with authorities from international, national, regional, and local public-sector bodies, as well as representatives of industry associations and non-governmental organizations visiting the Pavilion.
- Participation in the afterwork event to establish professional contacts with other exhibiting companies in the Pavilion in an informal and relaxed setting.
- Participation in the Official Cocktail Reception to establish professional contacts with authorities in the technology field and senior executives from the connectivity industry.
- Conference program:
- Participation in a roundtable on a topic related to their sector of activity, with the aim of exchanging views, sharing experiences, analyzing market trends, and showcasing best-practice cases.
- Spain Pavilion Award: a competition that will seek to highlight achievements and recognize the activity of the winning exhibiting company, based on the evaluation criteria determined by Red.es.
If 50 valid applications are not reached, Red.es may extend the deadline until September 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
The Pavilion in the 2026 edition delivered the following figures:
- More than 16,000 in-person visitors.
- 27% of visitors at executive level and above.
- 49 exhibiting companies.
- Estimated business volume: €54.1M.
- 66 activities within the conference and networking program.
- 117 speakers from the public and private sectors.
- 11 international meetings.
- 46 institutional visits.
- 3,500 podcast plays during MWC26, etc.
Requirements
- Be legally established and registered in the corresponding register.
- Have tax domicile, tax residence, or a permanent establishment in Spain.
- Have an average annual workforce not exceeding 500 employees.
- Carry out economic activity in the ICT field.
- Present own products or services over which it holds commercialization rights.
- Be up to date with tax obligations and Social Security contributions.
- Not be part of a business group that submits another application to the call.
- Not have its own stand or participate in another institutional pavilion during MWC Barcelona 2027.
- Pay the reservation deposit within the application period.
