Grants to boost the creation, growth, expansion and internationalisation of innovative technology-based companies (startups)

The grants aim to drive the creation, consolidation, expansion and internationalisation of innovative technology-based startups in Ceuta.

The Autonomous City of Ceuta, through PROCESA, is launching the Grants to boost the creation, growth, expansion and internationalisation of innovative technology-based companies (startups), under the FEDER 2021–2027 Programme. This line of subsidies seeks to strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting start-ups and tech SMEs that develop innovative projects with growth potential and international projection.

The call finances up to 80% of eligible costs, with a maximum of €30,000 per project, extendable up to €200,000 for companies that meet additional requirements such as recognition as an “emerging company” by ENISA and a minimum turnover of €100,000 in the last financial year.

Eligible expenditure includes building works and fit-out of premises, acquisition of machinery and equipment, intangible assets (patents, licences), consultancy and advisory services, marketing, internationalisation, and adaptation of facilities for hiring people with disabilities, among others.

This initiative, co-financed 85% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and 15% by the Autonomous City of Ceuta, aims to position the city as a hub for technological innovation and entrepreneurship, generating skilled employment and attracting investment.
