Rising Up in Spain 2025

Rising UP in Spain 2025 is an initiative aimed at facilitating the establishment of foreign startups in Spain. The program provides a range of services and resources designed to accelerate the growth of the 50 beneficiary startups in the Spanish market. The benefits include:

A. Legal and Administrative Advice

The beneficiary startups will have access to the following free legal and administrative advisory services directly related to their establishment in Spain during their participation in the Program:

• Planning the establishment operation (corporate form, preliminary procedures in the country of origin, group structure, general advice).
• Obtaining a residence visa for entrepreneurial and business activity (entrepreneur visa).
• Administrative services for obtaining NIE, NIF, electronic certificate, and similar documents related to the establishment.
• Incorporation of the company before a notary and commercial registration.

B. Personalized Acceleration Program

The acceleration program will be provided with the help of external collaborators from ICEX-Invest in Spain. The acceleration program will consist of:

• Initial diagnosis.
• Assignment of a specialized mentor to develop a personalized acceleration plan.
• Periodic follow-up.
• Participation in specialized training courses.
• Connecting with investors: participation in demo days.

The Program will promote the integration of the beneficiary startups into Spain's innovation ecosystem through:

• Attendance at relevant events for startups.
• Visibility of the startups (media presence).
• Connection with other Program beneficiaries through a Forum.

Additionally, Rising UP in Spain 2025 will foster contact between the beneficiary startups and local partners in Spain who require technologies provided by the startups. ICEX Invest in Spain and its collaborators will guide the startups in the process of identifying potential local partners.

ICEX Invest in Spain may invite local partners to propose technological challenges through the Rising UP in Spain program, in sectors or areas of interest, to encourage foreign startups to work in Spain alongside these local partners.

Once the startup's participation in the program is completed and its company is established in Spain, the startup can continue to be part of the Rising UP in Spain community through its Forum.
