Spain Pavilion at Mobile World Congress 2025

MWC Barcelona is the world's largest and most influential annual event dedicated to the digital and media sectors, and it has become a meeting point not only for global telecommunication operators but also for all other companies operating in the industry. The congress is promoted by GSMA, a global organization representing the mobile ecosystem, responsible for discovering, developing, and delivering innovation for proper business and social development.

Since 2013, Red.es has organized the Spain Pavilion at MWC Barcelona, a meeting point to showcase Spain's great potential in the technological field. It features the presence of tech companies that represent the high level of innovation in the country. The Pavilion is also the scene of intense institutional activity by the Government of Spain, in its effort to identify synergies and share success stories with other countries. Additionally, it boasts an outstanding program of conferences and round tables, as well as networking activities with national and international delegations.

Moreover, since 2018, Red.es has organized the Official Cocktail of the Spain Pavilion, and it will do so again for the 2025 edition. This initiative aims to ensure that Spanish telecommunications companies and the information society are present at this congress.

The economic impact of MWC Barcelona grows year by year. The event planned for 2024 has attracted over 101,000 visitors from 205 countries, 26% of whom are women. In Spain, more than 1,100 speakers and opinion leaders were present, 41% of whom were women, as well as over 2,600 journalists and industry analysts from around the world.
