The VivaTech Spain Pavilion is an initiative organized by ICEX and Red.es, whose mission is to introduce the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem to the French digital economy market and provide access to the most active investors in open innovation programs
Description
VivaTech is the leading technology event in France and one of the most prominent in Europe in the field of open innovation and tech startups. This 2025 edition, which will last 4 days at the Parc Expo Porte de Versailles, is expected to bring together industry leaders; entrepreneurs and investors; incubators and accelerators; innovation professionals and companies to explore the latest trends and technological advancements.
The event will focus on several key trends, such as AI and its advancements and ethical challenges; integration of AI in the healthcare sector to improve decision-making and reduce costs; and sustainability with innovations in mobility and smart cities. Additionally, other areas will be highlighted, such as cybersecurity and quantum computing, as well as the redefinition of work with hybrid models and AI tools that determine productivity and learning in the work environment.
In the previous edition, VivaTech brought together more than 13,500 startups, 2,000 investors, over 165,000 visitors from 120 countries, 3,500 exhibitors, 400 speakers, and 2,000 journalists.
For this edition, the Spain Pavilion will offer 2 participation modalities:
- Startup modality: tech companies in early development stages, seeking rapid growth, with a validated and scalable business model, and revenues of less than $10 million.
- Visitor modality: entities that do not meet the startup requirements. Public or private entities (institutions, corporations, associations, clusters, accelerators, investment vehicles, etc.) can participate individually without grouping companies.
