Top101 Spain Up Nation Reconocimientos del Emprendimiento con Impacto en España 2025.
The TOP 101 Recognition aims to identify, acknowledge, support, and give visibility, from the public sector, to companies with social, economic, and/or environmental impact and with the greatest growth potential.
The Spanish Association of Regional Development Agencies (Foro ADR) and ENISA, aware of the importance of highlighting and rewarding innovative entrepreneurship and business growth in Spain, announce the second edition of the TOP 101 Spain Up Nation - Recognition of Impactful Entrepreneurship in Spain 2025.
This initiative aims to spotlight startups that, despite their brief trajectory, have significantly distinguished themselves in terms of innovation and sustainable development, contributing to the economic and social progress of the country from the public sector.
The TOP 101 Recognition highlights recent business projects that promote collaboration between entrepreneurs, companies, and public administrations. It supports those with high economic and social impact, emphasising their innovation and capacity to generate stable employment in Spain. Furthermore, it encourages strategic alliances to transform these projects into more competitive, sustainable, and exportable models.
The evaluation of applications will take place in two phases: regional and national. In the regional phase, the four best companies from each autonomous community will be selected, receiving a "Direct Pass" to the TOP 101, totalling a maximum of 76 companies.
In this phase, the entrepreneurial team’s capacity and leadership will be assessed, as well as the innovation of the business model in its broadest sense, including processes, ideas, services, products, structures, and channels, among others.
The potential for scalability and capacity for internationalisation will also be considered, analysing global growth, market, competitive advantages, sustainability, and job creation. Companies that already have start-up certification will be exempt from evaluating the innovation and scalability of the business model.
Additionally, an economic-financial analysis will be conducted to ensure the viability and coherence of the forecasts.
Finally, the social impact of the projects will be assessed, focusing on those that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are capable of generating real solutions, providing value, meeting needs, and transforming their environment.
The remaining 25 companies will be re-evaluated at the national level, where additional criteria will be considered, such as the assessment of the social, business, and environmental impact model.
Awarded companies will receive the TOP 101 Spain Up Nation Seal, be recognised at the National Gala in Murcia on 12 November, receive personalised training and Pitch Deck coaching, and participate in a networking agenda on 12 and 13 November, which includes B2B sessions and meetings to attract investment.
