ConexiONEs Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Boosting the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the Canary Islands

Entrepreneurship is not a solitary path. Innovation and growth arise when entrepreneurs connect, share experiences, and build together. Under this premise, ConexiONEs was born, the proprietary events of the ONE Platform, designed to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain.

With the aim of fostering collaboration among entrepreneurship agents, proprietary events have been planned under the ConexiONEs brand, which will soon be held in different autonomous communities of the country and will be announced in our Agenda section. These meetings aim to attract influential leaders from the business sector, entrepreneurs, startups, and investment funds, creating a conducive environment for the exchange of ideas and generating strategic networking opportunities.

The first ConexiONEs will take place on March 20, 2025, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where we will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and key sector agents to foster the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and opportunities. Through round tables, interactive sessions, and networking, this event seeks to generate a real impact on the growth of innovative projects in the region.

The day combines learning, inspiration, and connection. These are some of the activities that will be part of the event:

• Round table on failures in entrepreneurship. Failure is part of the process of entrepreneurship, but it is rarely openly discussed. At this table, entrepreneurs will share their experiences through the obstacles and failures they have faced. They will talk about how these moments have allowed them to grow and improve, transforming challenges into key learnings for their entrepreneurial journey. It will be a sincere and enriching space to demystify failure and turn it into a springboard to success.
• Dialogue on motivations for entrepreneurship. Each entrepreneurship arises from a unique story. In this space, people with diverse experiences will share their motivations for entrepreneurship and how they have turned their ideas into real projects. What prompted them to take the first step? What advice can they offer to those who are at the beginning of the journey? These stories will serve as inspiration for those who seek to advance in their own entrepreneurial journey.
• Pitch session in collaboration with RECABA (Canary Islands Business Angels Network). Access to financing is key to the growth of any startup. In collaboration with RECABA (Canary Islands Business Angels Network), we will organize a pitch session where startups can present their projects to investors. In addition to the strategic feedback they will receive, this session represents an opportunity to establish relationships with potential investors and strategic allies that will drive the development of their initiatives.
• Interactive networking session. Effective networking goes beyond exchanging business cards. In this session, we will facilitate a dynamic format so you can connect with people who share your interests and needs. Through structured dynamics, we will seek to make interactions productive, generating real collaboration opportunities with key players in the ecosystem.
