Formación transformadora

Entrepreneurship-oriented training can no longer be limited to the transmission of theoretical knowledge. New educational models are redefining the way people learn and develop capabilities by incorporating active methodologies, experiential learning, teamwork, and the resolution of real-world challenges.

This monograph explores, from a rigorous and applied perspective, how different training approaches are contributing to the development of key entrepreneurial competencies. It examines models based on collaboration with the ecosystem, the connection between education and professional reality, and the integration of perspectives from both the public and private sectors.

Throughout the document, pedagogical foundations such as situated learning, challenge-based methodology, and collaborative learning are explored. It also reviews innovative training models in Vocational Education and Training, undergraduate education, and higher or executive education, together with essential competencies such as creativity, vision, opportunity recognition, resource mobilization, resilience, and uncertainty management.

The monograph also pays attention to emerging trends shaping the evolution of training, such as the convergence of educational models, the flexibilization of pathways, the growing importance of expert guidance, and evidence-based assessment, as well as the role of technology as an enabler of learning. It also incorporates the EntreComp framework as a reference for articulating competency development.

The approach is clearly practical, with examples, models, and cases that help explain how these methodologies translate into results, impact, and value creation. Among the experiences analyzed are real initiatives and projects that show different ways of applying these approaches in educational and entrepreneurial contexts.

This monograph is aimed at people interested in educational transformation and in fostering entrepreneurial competencies, including teachers, trainers, students, entrepreneurs, and those responsible for designing policies and innovation initiatives. A useful tool for understanding how to improve entrepreneurship education through approaches that are more connected to reality and to the challenges of the future.
