Big Science Industry Forum 2025

Big Science Industry Forum 2025 is the first national forum dedicated exclusively to the Big Science industry, organized by CDTI Innovación, the INDUCIENCIA Technology Platform, and the Spanish Association of the Science Industry (INEUSTAR). Over two days, Madrid will become a unique meeting point for companies, research groups, universities, technology centers, and representatives of major international scientific infrastructures such as CERN, ITER/F4E, and ESO.

The program is designed to foster both knowledge transfer and the creation of business opportunities. The first day will be held entirely in Spanish, with sessions aimed at industry and the national research community. The second day, in English, will focus on international outreach, featuring the participation of organizations and entities leading large-scale projects in fundamental physics, astronomy, and nuclear fusion.

In addition to conferences and round tables, the forum will feature an exhibition area for companies, a poster space for research groups, and a program of bilateral meetings to establish direct potential contacts and new opportunities for collaboration. Upcoming tenders and projects from major infrastructures will be presented, along with the technological trends that will shape the future in fields such as cryogenics, superconducting magnets, ultra-high vacuum instrumentation, and high-performance computing.

Although this is the first edition, the forum is born with the ambition of becoming an international benchmark. The global Big Science market moves billions of euros annually in technology contracts, and Spain aspires to strengthen its role in this ecosystem by showcasing the talent and capacity of its industry to position itself at the forefront of innovation. With this pioneering event, a door opens to new opportunities for collaboration and shared growth.
