ConexiONEs Pamplona 2026

Following four previous editions —Canary Islands, Cuenca, Santander and Ceuta— ConexiONEs arrives in Pamplona as the fifth stop on this national journey of dialogue, analysis and collective learning. This stop focuses on how to make sound decisions in times of hype and on the creation of technology spinoffs as a way to transform research into viable and sustainable companies.

This edition is part of the national ConexiONEs tour, a series of events that serve as territorial activation points for the ONE Platform, contributing to the creation of a connected, informed community oriented towards generating real and sustainable impact. 

The event will begin with the presentation of the ONE Platform, designed to strengthen connections among stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, facilitate access to strategic resources, and foster relationships based on sound judgment, trust and long-term collaboration.

Next, the event will be structured around two inspiring dialogues that will address, from complementary perspectives, the current challenges of technology entrepreneurship and knowledge-based innovation.

Dialogue 1: “The FOMO of entrepreneurship: how to make sound decisions in times of hype”

This dialogue brings together people with experience in entrepreneurship, strategy and decision-making in highly uncertain environments to analyse how to navigate an ecosystem shaped by constant trends, media pressure and accelerated expectations. 

The conversation offers a critical perspective on the phenomenon of fear of missing out applied to entrepreneurship, inviting participants to question when an opportunity responds to a real need and when it is simply the result of noise and the urgency not to be left behind. Throughout the dialogue, participants will explore how to prepare strategically to make decisions in trend-saturated contexts, which criteria help distinguish solid opportunities from passing fads, and how to avoid impulsive decisions driven by hype.

Dialogue 2: “Technology spinoffs: how to turn research into viable companies”

The second dialogue brings together people with experience in innovation, knowledge transfer and the creation of technology-based companies to analyse the role of spinoffs as a vehicle for transforming research into economic and social impact. The conversation focuses on how knowledge generated in universities and research centres can become sustainable business projects, especially in territories with established scientific and technological ecosystems such as Navarra.

Throughout the dialogue, participants will reflect on the competitive advantages offered by technology spinoffs, the challenges associated with lack of resources, market transfer or business model validation, and the role played by local institutions in supporting these types of initiatives.

After the dialogues, the event will conclude with a networking session, designed to foster valuable encounters and connections among diverse profiles, thus showcasing the richness of Pamplona’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
