Funding for Innovative Companies with CDTI: NEOTEC, Internationalization and Real‑World Experiences

The aim of this webinar is to present the opportunities offered by CDTI and help attendees identify the most suitable programmes and learn how to promote their innovation and technological development projects. Once you register, you will receive a calendar invitation.

Access to specialized public funding can help accelerate technological development, validate innovative solutions, and strengthen business competitiveness. However, for many organizations, identifying which programs exist, how they work, and what each one can offer may be challenging, especially in the early stages of growth or when considering the internationalization of their R&D activities.

The Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) offers different instruments aimed at supporting companies that develop their own technology, carry out research and development activities, and seek to collaborate internationally. Its mission is to boost business competitiveness through innovation and technological cooperation grants, including programmes such as NEOTEC, the multilateral Eureka and Eurostars initiatives, as well as other mechanisms that support the internationalisation of R&D projects.

In the first part of the webinar, Emilio Iglesias Cadarso, Head of the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation at CDTI, will explain how the NEOTEC programme helps drive the creation and consolidation of technology‑based companies, offering grants aimed at small innovative companies that develop their own technology and whose competitive strategy is based on their research activity.

Afterwards, Óscar Fernández Moyano, Head of the Department of Technological Cooperation at CDTI, and Patricia Sánchez Pacheco, CDTI representative in India, will address the opportunities for international technological cooperation available to Spanish companies, as well as key aspects for participating in international programmes such as Eureka and Eurostars.

Finally, companies that have benefited from the NEOTEC programme will share their experience accessing this line of funding, as well as the impact it has had on the technological development and growth of their projects.
