The ONE Platform at Canarias Destino Startup 2026

Canarias Destino Startup offers exclusive and relaxed spaces to connect startups with national and international investors, encourage the exchange of ideas and generate new synergies.

In this context, Plataforma ONE will be present on 7 and 8 October, supporting Gran Canaria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and taking part in different events designed to foster high-value connections.

One of these events will focus on creating connections between startups and investors in an innovative and experiential setting, through Canarian culture and gastronomy. Local wines will serve as the common thread throughout the activity, with participants sharing their impressions and connecting their projects with the characteristics of the wines.

The activity will be structured into two sections:

Section 1: Which wine represents your project?

Participants will discover the four wines and the symbolic concepts associated with each one. After the tasting, they will choose the wine they identify with the most and share the reasons behind their choice with their table. The activity aims to naturally encourage personal and professional conversations, fostering mutual understanding and identifying potential synergies.

Section 2: Startup Wine Challenge

The five tables will become teams and take part in a collaborative tasting game based on four challenges related to key innovation skills:

• Observe and identify opportunities
• Experiment and validate
• Communicate a value proposition
• Identify differentiating elements

Each challenge will be based on a combination of wine and a gastronomic proposal, encouraging collaboration, discussion and joint decision-making among startups, investors and institutions.

The activity will conclude with a collective assessment of the pairings tasted and recognition of the team that demonstrates the greatest ability to connect and innovate. The ultimate goal is to strengthen relationships among participants through an original, engaging experience connected to the Canary Islands.

The other event in which Plataforma ONE will take part is the networking event that will close the programme on 8 October, aimed at young entrepreneurs from the Canary Islands. In a different and relaxed setting by the sea, it will be an opportunity to create spontaneous connections, share experiences and encourage interaction among participants, with local youth entrepreneurship as the main focus.

Through these experiences combining innovation, talent and Canarian culture, startups will have the opportunity to showcase their projects, share their value propositions and establish direct contact with investors, companies and other key players in the business and technology ecosystem.
