The Way Startup Summit 2025

The Way Startup Summit 2025 is establishing itself as one of the key gatherings within the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Southern Europe. In a time marked by global disruption, The Way Startup Summit is committed to strengthening the entrepreneurial fabric as a driver of change, competitiveness, and economic, technological, and social transformation.

The event will bring together startups, entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, accelerators, universities, and public administrations that are committed to innovation, all in one space.

On 7 May, the Investors Tour will take place—an exclusive activity for investors, offering the opportunity to visit and connect with some of the main players in Galicia's entrepreneurial, innovation, and investment ecosystem. This pre-event day will provide a direct insight into Galicia’s potential as an innovative region.

The main conference will take place on 8 and 9 May, featuring top-tier keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and startup pitch sessions. The first day will focus on the future of key sectors such as fintech, mobility, health, textiles, food, tourism, retail, sport, and sustainability. Dedicated spaces will include “Women in Tech”, investment-focused debates, specialised sessions such as EXIT: Is your company ready to be acquired?, and practical workshops on public funding, preparing an investor deck, shareholder agreements, and AI tools applied to the Lean Startup model.

The second day will continue with talks from industry leaders such as Marc Guasch from Zubi Capital; Maite Fibla from Ship2B Ventures; and Antonio Iglesias from Endeavor. Innovative projects will also be showcased, including those by Pedro Pestana from Marosa and Lucas Varela from Onum. In addition, public sector representatives will participate, such as José Ignacio Sánchez Valdenebro from Red.es, who will present the ONE Platform, highlighting its potential as a key ally for anyone looking to start a business; along with Fernando Garrido from EOI and Luis Baratas from ICEX.

In its previous edition, the event welcomed over 1,000 attendees, more than 50 exhibiting startups, and over 100 investors.
