Web Summit 2025

Web Summit is one of the most influential tech events worldwide. Every year, it turns Lisbon into a global hub for innovation. In its 13th edition, the program will feature over 700 talks and panels across stages such as the Main Stage, where top-tier CEOs share their vision; the Future Societies Stage, focused on the social impact of technology; the Marketing Machine Stage, dedicated to growth and digital strategies; and the Women in Tech Stage, aimed at promoting diversity.

Attendees will be able to join hands-on workshops covering artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, digital health, sustainability, and smart cities.

The conference will also host an exhibition area with more than 2,500 tech companies showcasing live demos and product launches. To strengthen connections, one-on-one speed-networking sessions will be available through the event app.

A standout feature of Web Summit is the Startup Showcase, one of its most dynamic initiatives, designed to spotlight emerging startups with disruptive ideas. These are fast-paced pitch-style presentations where selected startups present their solutions to thousands of attendees, investors, and international media.

Every hour during the event, startups are grouped by common themes—digital health, fintech, sustainability, AI, etc.—to share their vision, business model, and value proposition across various stages. The goal is to capture the attention of potential partners, clients, and investors, and to generate real opportunities for funding and growth.

The 2024 edition brought together over 71,000 attendees from 160 countries, 3,050 exhibiting companies, 1,066 investors, and 2,100 journalists—figures that cement Web Summit’s status as a flagship event for the global tech ecosystem.
